The Boys Season 5 Set Photos Confirm Teenage Kix Debut (EXCLUSIVE)
“The Boys” Season 4 concluded with Homelander on the verge of taking control of the United States government, setting the stage for a grim and chaotic final season. New set photos have surfaced, offering a tantalizing glimpse into what lies ahead. Currently, filming for the highly anticipated fifth and final season is in full swing, and our field correspondent has secured some exclusive behind-the-scenes images that reveal shocking details.
The image above depicts a modified prison bus, seemingly used to transport Vought dissidents to the infamous “Freedom Camps.” It is presumed that this is where Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother’s Milk were taken at the end of the last season.
This image is a particularly interesting one as it confirms that Vought has taken control of the police.
Nearby houses on the set had “Starlighter” graffitied onto them, so the SWAT have presumably been called into action to immobilise a group of Starlighter residents. But who made the call…
The Teenage Kix! It’s with the upmost joy that we’re able to confirm that the Teenage Kix will be making their on-screen debut in The Boys Season 5. You can see their infamous “Kix Mobile” in the photos above.
Teenage Kix serves as a parody of those youthful superhero teams like Young Justice, Teen Titans, and Young Avengers. It exaggerates the flaws and immaturity often associated with young or inexperienced heroes, highlighting their recklessness, over-the-top antics, and the corrupt, exploitative nature of the world they inhabit.
While we’re unable to confirm the heroes on the roster, we at least know what they look like, as seen on the van above. We see a Cat-themed supe (left), a girl supe with large black eye bags (center), and a male supe who’s waring a blue collar shirt (right).
Seasons 1 to 4 of The Boys is streaming on Prime Video. Season 5 currently does not have a release date.
